The Book Witch

I was a homeschooled neurodivergent mormon, who ended up getting deeper and deeper into the cult, going into TJed, George Wythe, BYU, traveling the world, going on a mission, and trying so hard to be the good girl I believed god wanted me to be. I didn't leave when I was 18, or even 24. I left at 31, suddenly, 4 months after filing for divorce, as someone told me a fact about the church I'd never thought about. My shelf broke in an instant, for the wrong reasons. I spent the next year really diving into the history of the church. But after that, things began to shift. I read When God was a Women. I saw the patterns and similarities between the church, capitalism, colonialism, narcissism, and patriarchy. I aligned with witchiness when I realized what the patriarchy had done to women led religion and when I felt more spiritual after leaving the church.
Currently, I live in Dubai, teaching. I have a writing business, Ink & Impact, where I help people with their unconventional stories. I've also created a fb group to help women connect, and grow in a business-minded way.
