Podcast Host / Beauty Queen / Mental Health Advocate
Mrs. Daybreak Amanda Smith McCombs is a retired dedicated first-grade teacher at Advantage Arts Academy in Herriman, Utah, and a passionate advocate for self-care and mental health awareness. Her journey has been marked by resilience and transformation, as she has faced personal challenges, including the loss of her mother and overcoming physical and emotional health struggles.
Amanda found healing and purpose through her participation in the Mrs. Utah America pageant, where she represents her community as Mrs. Daybreak. Inspired by her late mother, who was also involved in pageants, Amanda has embraced this platform to amplify her voice and share her message of hope and self-care. Her pageant platform, "Take care of yourself - Love, Mom," focuses on processing trauma, addressing PTSD, and encouraging individuals to prioritize their well-being.
Through her work as an educator and her involvement in the pageant, Amanda continues to inspire others to seek support, embrace their struggles, and find strength in adversity.
